I got Published!!! In A NEWSPAPER!

Hi everyone!

Really pretty excited to say that one of my articles was published in a leading newspaper here in Pakistan. I know you guys might not think of it as too much of a big deal over there in the States, but here in Pakistan it is a pretty big deal to get your article even read by an editor let alone passed on to the printing press.

As you can see the article was written around July 24th, and was only recently published Sunday Septemeber 10th, not bad for a first time writer to get his artile published on a Sunday, and a day before September the 11th, it was a pretty big news day.

http://www.nation.com.pk Is the newspapers site, I havent been able to sift through it all to find my article as of yet, so for the people that want to read the article which is about the World Trade Organisation, you can check it out here

http://www.feeree.com/news <--- The News article I wrote, this is the unedited version so dont go crazy looking for typos and such!

Pass this on to anyone you know! I am so HAPPY!

Your Taxes PaY for SuperBOWL PARTY

A recent lawsuit filed in Washington by a former Halliburton employees claims that the government was charged for such things as widescreen TV’s, and snacks that Halliburton had shipped to Iraq in 2005.

The lawsuit also claims that the government was sometimes double and triple charged for Internet, food and athletic services provided for U.S. soldiers, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

Interesting thing to note is that Halliburton was run by Vice President Dick Cheney from 1995-2000. This also that same company that had all of its employees “donate” the maximum amount to the Bush Reelection campaign.

Hopefully the company gets sued, and the government gets some of its money back, but until this happens we taxpayers can be pleased to know that our Governments back handling of the whole process of contracts can lead to atrocities like this happening.

The suit was filed under the False Claims Act, designed to prevent war profiteering by allowing citizens to sue on behalf of the government and recover a portion of damages.

And they say that the story of the 600 dollar hammer and the 200 dollar toilet seat are false?

Stuff like this PISSES ME OFF!

GooGle Gets Sued... and LOSES... BUT stills WINS?

In Arkansas of all places, I didnt even know they had computers in Arkansas! Let alone a judiciary system but what do you know! A judge awarded a class action lawsuit in favour of the plaintiff.

What that means is the Google lost and the webmaster won!

Wait a second how much? 90 Million?!?

Of that 30 Million was paid to the lawyers in Cold hard Cash. The lawyers fees were 1/3 of the total verdict (I love lawyers). The webmasters got 60 Million left over, but they werent paid in cash, they were paid in adwords coupons.

So what the means is that they were fighting a lawsuit against Google stating that people were clicking on their links malicously, and Google gave them 60 Million dollars worth of Adwords Coupons. (Advertising Credit on Google)

Thats like me suing McDonald's for making me fat, and them paying me with BIG MAC's!

At the end of the day you may think that Google lost, but they did win. Its a great accounting technique in my opinion. The sixty million dollars that was going to be sent is still a asset for the company, because the money will be spent on Google, and its partner websites. Partner websites being anyone that is using adsense. And since Google wont be giving all of its profits to people in the adsense system (obviously google will keep a cut), they actually will come out with spending a little less than sixty million on adwords.

Not to mention the original click fraud in question was for more than that amount!

Accountants and Lawyers will always lead to trouble for the little man.

So who are the winners here? GooGle, and the lawyers. The losers are the webmasters using both adwords and ADSENSE!

And what will the lawyers do with all their money? You guessed it, they will spend it all on adwords...

Dont believe me? Check out the highest paying keywords for the program by CLICKING HERE!

You guessed it, the lawyers are funneling money into the adwords system so that more people will click on their links which will lead to more CLASS ACTION lawsuits. Round and Round the merry wheel GOES!

Your Honor: The MySpace Lawsuit

If you dont know what myspace is please go to the top right hand corner of this page, and click the "X" you see because the rest of this article is too much for you to comprehend. We all know that it is very popular among teens and even younger than teens. Well its being sued! And by a 14 year old girl for that matter, and for 30 Million Dollars! She claims she was assaulted by a man claiming to be a senior on his schools football team.

Learn how to blog

Make money from your blog

Instead P. Solis was a 19 year old that picked her up, took her to dinner, than a movie, than a parking lot, and did the henious act. And now the girl and her lawyer who will probably take about 40% of any money recieved are suing myspace for 30,000,000, that is a lot of change. What the hell is a 14 year old kid going to do with that kind of money. IN the case the girl stated that the web site does nothing to verify the ages or identities of those who chat on the site and send emails to other site members.

Top 10 most popular blogs

The girl's attorney says the lawsuit is the first of its kind. Although Myspace has a "Tips for Parents" page which states that users must be 14 or older, no proof is required to verify members ages.

Myspace officials say that the site takes "aggressive" measures to protect members. The site is the third most viewed internet site in the world, with 80 million members.

Attorney Generals from Texas and four other states have already asked Myspace to tighten their security measures, using such tactics as requiring users to identify themselves and their ages with a credit card or valid email account. The precident-setting lawsuit will help determine whether a web site is legally responsible for activity that occurs away from the site.

Top 12 reasons you need a blog

Where are the parents? Why didn't the mother question who brought her 14 year old daughter home from school? Why is this girl stupid enough to get in a car with someone she doesn't know?
I don't see much validity to this arguement. MySpace.com is not a dating website, nor was it created to serve as a way for strangers to meet each other in person. A person should know there is always risks involved in meeting a complete stranger, especially one from the internet. As for children, it is their parent's job to educate them on the dangers of what is out there.
